Germany Fully Funded Scholarship

Germany is extending fully-funded scholarships to international students pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate studies at universities or universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschule) in Berlin or Potsdam.

These scholarships are part of the SBW Berlin Scholarship 2024 initiative, aimed at supporting talented individuals globally.

The scholarship encompasses a monthly stipend, housing support, full tuition fee coverage, and travel expenses.

Recipients are encouraged to engage in social projects during their time in Berlin, ideally aligned with charitable initiatives in their home countries or aimed at enhancing living conditions there.

Upon graduation, scholarship recipients are expected to return to their home countries to apply the skills acquired during their studies in Germany to advance projects or engage in humanitarian efforts.

Eligible candidates should be aged between 18 and 30, with prior experience in non-profit organizations or social institutions in their home countries.

Additionally, applicants must furnish letters of recommendation from relevant organizations in support of their candidacy.

Another criterion is that applicants should not have resided in Germany for more than 18 months before applying.

Candidates must hold a university entrance qualification, express a commitment to working in their home country for a minimum of 18 months post-studies, or engage in humanitarian activities in Germany until fulfilling the repayment obligation.

Moreover, applicants should demonstrate a relatively low net income, attain an average grade equivalent to the German grade point average of at least 2.0, and not have immediate family members permanently residing in Germany.

Application deadlines are from May 15 to June 30 and from November 15 to December 31 annually.
